Your privacy is very important to us. We will keep your details secure and never use your data for anything other than to update you about For Rutland and our fundraising activities and events. We only ask for the information we need.
When we record and use your personal information we will not sell or share it with any other parties, unless in exceptional circumstances when we are legally obliged to do so.
We handle and store your personal information in line with the law - including the General Data Protection Regulation.
How we collect your data
We collect your information from you in the following ways:
When you

complete the electronic registration form on our web site to request more information

call us and speak to a member of our fundraising team and give your verbal permission to collect your data

sign your name on a registration form for any of our events (and give your written permission to collect your data)

request to volunteer at any of our events (and give your permission to collect data)

provide your details for Gift Aid with a donation
What we ask for
We ask you to give us your name, address, email address and/or phone number.
How we store your information
If you join our mailing list, or become a member of the fund raising team, your information will be stored on a secure database. Paper records may also be kept in lockable cabinets at the Citizens Advice Offices in Oakham.
Citizens Advice Rutland is the data controller for your personal information and is responsible for keeping this information safe. All of our staff, and volunteers as appropriate have received Information Assurance training.
